Altar Servers assist the priest and deacon at Sunday liturgies and at funerals and weddings. Boys and girls from 4th grade through high school are invited to participate in this ministry.

More than anything an Altar Server is a prayer leader. A server participates actively in the entire Mass by responding to the prayers, singing the hymns, listening to the scriptures in addition to serving water and wine, carrying the processional cross or candles, assisting with incense, and many other functions.
