A Mass of Remembrance

We invite you and your family to join us in celebrating a Mass of Remembrance on Thursday, November 2 nd , the Feast of All Souls, at 7:00 p.m. At this Mass we will pray for all the faithful departed, and will remember by name those who died since this past year. The pilgrim church on earth is in communion with the church in heaven and with those who, in God’s saving mercy, are being purified and prepared for heaven. We read in the Catechism, “From the beginning, the church has honored the memory of the dead and offered prayers in suffrage for them, above all the Eucharistic sacrifice, so that, thus purified, they may attain the beatific vision of God.” (#1032) We hope that you and your family and friends will join us for this Mass.
