I want to take a moment to introduce a new initiative starting at our parish beginning in Lent. The “Be My Witness” program will provide an opportunity for our parish to gather in small groups, with the intent to help us: Become a more prayer-filled community. Share and witness our faith with each other. Create a sense of mutual support along our faith journey. And better live out our faith and mission as Catholics. While small groups will be formed and will begin to meet at the start of Lent, with six sessions offered in Lent and six sessions offered during the Easter season, respectively, we will hold an information session on Saturday, January 27 at 9:30 in the morning in the ICS cafeteria. A representative from the program will be present to cover two important topics at this gathering. First, an overview of Be My Witness and what you will experience. Second, for those who would like to be a small group facilitator, they will provide an overview of how to prepare and facilitate the sessions. My hope and prayer is that this small group experience will help us all to revitalize our faith and grow together as missionary disciples. Please prayerfully consider attending the information session and be sure to look for more information and small group sign-ups in the weeks to come. Thank you! Msgr. Joseph Celano
