This Mass commemorates the institution of the sacraments of the Eucharist and Holy Orders, and the washing of the feet of the Apostles by Jesus at the Last Supper. It is the beginning of the Easter Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter celebrations).
On this day, we commemorate Jesus’ parting gifts of love: the Eucharist, His continual presence, the Priesthood, His care and concern for us, and Christian Service, and our call to continue Christ’s ministry. The Mass of the Lord’s Supper calls us to service, enables us to give alms, and “watch one hour” with the Risen Lord.
Join us for the Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:30 pm on Holy Thursday, April 6. The Mass will be bilingual.
