The Forty Hours devotion is the continuous adoration of the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament for a period of 40 hours. The Blessed Sacrament will be solemnly exposed during evening vespers on Sunday, March 26. Vespers will again be celebrated at 7:00 pm on Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 at 7:00 pm, at which time the Forty Hours concludes with Solemn Benedication and Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
Individuals, families, and parish ministries and organizations may commit themselves to a time of prayer and adoration either during the day or through the night during the 40 hours. During this year of Eucharistic Revival, please open your hearts to Christ in the Eucharist as His Heart is open to you.
