The Church of the Immaculate Conception will once again illuminate hundreds of Christmas trees on the parish campus during the Advent and Christmas seasons.
These freshly cut Christmas trees will be adorned with white lights and will include a placard that can be customized to include the name of a loved one, a wish for Christmas blessings, or simply a message of gratitude.
The trees will be blessed at 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 10, after the Church of the Immaculate Conception’s Advent Lessons and Christmas Carols. The trees will remain illuminated each night until Saturday, January 6, the traditional date of the Solemnity of the Epiphany, which marks the arrival of visitors, identified in Scripture as the magi, to the place where Jesus was born.
Hard copy forms can be found near the entrances to the church or forms can be submitted online by visiting: immaculateconception.org/christmas-trees.
